adidas Originals and Prada are collaborating once more to release another shoe collaboration. This time is based on the Forum Low and Forum High styles. The Italian luxury fashion label has announced yet another edition in its Prada x Adidas relationship, which began in 2019. Prada has put its basic touch to Michael Jordan’s iconic basketball shoes after presenting many variations on the Adidas Superstar shoes and launching the limited-edition A+P Luna Rossa 21 sneakers.
The Adidas Forum, which debuted in 1984 with a legendary $100 price tag, has a fresh appearance according to Prada creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons. The nylon zipped pouches attached to the sneakers are the most noticeable difference.
ASAP Rocky teased the Prada x adidas
ASAP Rocky teased the sneaker on Instagram, unveiling the collaboration for the first time. Both styles feature all-White or all-Black color blocking and recycled nylon uppers. Prada adds unique features such as a little pocket tied to the shoelaces and the fashion label’s emblem on the tongues. The all-White/Black theme is carried through to the rubber sole.
After endorsements from Bad Bunny, Blackpink’s Lisa, Kendall Jenner, and Bella Hadid, the Adidas Forum has already gained traction. Instead of resorting to the more mainstream Stan Smiths, trust Prada to know what’s cool and provide its own twist on the shoes.
The Prada and adidas Forum versions will be available today, January 13th, at select shops and adidas.com/Prada. The retail price is $1,120 (High) and $850 (Low).
